We are pleased to announce that the winning team of the world championship (finals tournament) at the 2024 Mölkky World Championship in Hakodate will be awarded a special Gold Leaf Mölkky set. This exquisite set was previously showcased at the 1st Mölkky Japan Open held in Kanazawa, Ishikawa on May 27-28, 2023.
Regarding the prizes for the nation match and the world championship, we will provide further information at a later date.

The Gold Leaf Mölkky set has been  crafted by skilled gold leaf artisans from Ishikawa Prefecture and generously donated by the Kanazawa Culture and Sports Commission. This beautiful piece exemplifies the traditional gold leaf craftsmanship of Japan.

We are excited to announce that this Gold Leaf Mölkky set will be on display in Hakodate. Visitors will have the opportunity to see this remarkable example of Japanese craftsmanship during the following periods and locations:

Period: June 17, 2024 (Monday) – August 9, 2024 (Friday)

Location: Hakodate Community Design Center, 1st Floor Information Area

Location: Hakodate Airport, Lobby immediately outside the 1st Floor Arrival Gate (in front of the Tourist Information Office)
